Guided Tour (Whole School)

Experience Grace Christian Academy in Full: Our Guided Tours offer you a comprehensive look at our entire school. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Explore Our Campus: Visit our classrooms, library, gymnasium, chapel areas.
• Meet Our Staff: Have a chat with our teachers and administrative staff.
• Learn About Our Programs: Discover our academic curriculum, spiritual education, extracurricular activities, and unique programs.
• Ask Questions: We encourage you to ask questions and gather as much information as you need to make an informed decision.

Tours are available on Monday - Friday between 9 AM to 2 PM. Each tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and is led by a member of our staff.

Shadow Days (6th-12th Grade)

A Day in the Life at Grace Christian Academy: Shadow Days are designed for prospective students in grades 6-12 to experience a typical day at our school. Participants will:

• Attend Classes: Join our classes and see our engaging, Christ-centered teaching methods.
• Meet Future Classmates: Interact with students and make new friends.
• Participate in School Activities: Engage in our daily routines and extracurricular activities.
• Experience School Culture: Get a real feel for the supportive and nurturing environment we foster.

Shadow Days can be scheduled on most days during the school year. We match each visitor with a current student ambassador who shares similar interests.

What to Expect:

• When you arrive at Grace Christian Academy, please check in at our main office. You will be provided with a visitor’s badge and an itinerary for your visit.

Getting Here:

• Address: Grace Christian Academy is located at 2499 Waldron Rd, Kankakee, IL.
• Parking: Ample parking is available in our main parking lot, which is directly in front of the school building.

• Security Procedure: For the safety of our students and staff, our front entrance is secured. Please use the intercom in the foyer vestibule to be buzzed into the front office.
• Welcome and Orientation: In the front office, you will be greeted by our friendly office staff. If you’re here for a Shadow Day, the student(s) you’ll be shadowing for the day will also meet you here.
