Application Process Overview

Interview: Contact the office at (815) 939-4579 for an interview to discuss your family's fit with our school's philosophy.

Shadow Day (if applicable): Prospective students can experience a typical day at our academy, including classes and chapel. Register by contacting the office or via [email protected].

Testing (if applicable): Assessments in reading and math help us place students appropriately in grades or classes.

Complete Online Application: Apply easily online. This process includes submission of a $150 non-refundable fee and information regarding the applicant, student interests, previous schooling, religious affiliation, family details, and selected tuition plan.

Acceptance Confirmation: Upon acceptance, families will receive an email with instructions to set up a FACTS Tuition Payment Plan.

Finalization Meeting: Visit the school office to submit necessary documents like Medical Release, Physical/Shot Records, Parent Cooperation Forms, and confirm your FACTS Tuition Payment Plan.

Admission Standards

To maintain our commitment to excellence, we seek students and families who share our goals:
Shared Goals: We partner with families who align with our mission of integrating wisdom into all aspects of our educational program.

Cooperative Spirit: A positive attitude towards our Christian ethos is essential. Familiarity with our Parent/Student Handbook, outlining school standards and expectations, is expected from both parents and students.

Academic Record: Applicants should have a solid academic foundation, indicative of their readiness for our academic program and commitment to their educational responsibilities.

Academic Accommodations: We provide reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities, as outlined in an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), including extended work and test time, workload adjustments, and other necessary supports.

Disciplinary Record: Applicants with a history of significant disciplinary issues may face additional scrutiny during the admissions process and admission is not assured.

Early Education Admission: For Pre-school through 1st grade, students must meet age, maturity, and health requirements, including all necessary immunizations and physical exams.

Next Steps After Acceptance

We are thrilled to welcome you to our community. Here’s what you can expect as you prepare to join our family:

Parent-Teacher Meet and Greet: Shortly before the school year begins, we organize a meet and greet with your child’s teachers. This allows you to discuss your child’s educational needs, learn about the curriculum, and understand how we partner with parents to ensure each child’s success.

Enrollment Finalization: Our Office Secretary, Darcie Marshall, will assist you with finalizing your child’s enrollment. This includes setting up parent portal access, finalizing any necessary paperwork, and answering any last-minute questions you might have.

Participation in School Community: We encourage new families to get involved in our school community. Whether it’s volunteering, attending school events, or joining our parent-teacher association, there are numerous ways to engage and contribute.
