We are excited to announce that Grace has partnered with Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) and Grand Canyon University (GCU) to offer classes at the next educational level. Our partnership for Dual Enrollment will take the place of our Advanced Placement (AP) programs and will allow for a greater diversity of classes that are available to our students.

Olivet Nazarene UniversityWHAT IS THE EARLY SCHOLARS PROGRAM?
High school students can take Olivet undergraduate courses on campus or online to earn college credit from Olivet. Students will be enrolled in college courses with Olivet undergraduate students. This experience not only gives them a head start on university academics, but also provides a taste of college life. Olivet will charge our students $150 per credit hour. The advantage of ONU is that it offers our students the experience of being in a college classroom. However, students will have to register for a class that fits within their schedule. |
Grand Canyon UniversityGrand Canyon University offers dual enrollment classes as an affordable and efficient way for high school students to gain a head start on earning their college degree. Earning college credit provides students with college-level academic skills while still in high school and an accelerated college pathway that reduces time to graduation.
Grand Canyon will charge $52.50 per credit hour. The advantage of GCU is that it offers very flexible scheduling as classes are conducted online. However, online courses require more initiative and self-discipline of the student to be successful. |
Community College OptionStudents 16 years of age and older can enroll in regularly scheduled college credit division classes at KCC while still enrolled in high school.
Through this program, students earn college credit before graduating from high school. |

CLEP TestingThe College Board’s College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) has been the most widely trusted credit-by-examination program for over 50 years, accepted by 2,900 colleges and universities and administered in more than 2,000 test centers. This rigorous program allows students from a wide range of ages and backgrounds to demonstrate their mastery of introductory college-level material and earn college credit. Students can earn credit for what they already know by getting qualifying scores on any of the 34 examinations.
