Student Admissions Non-Discrimination Policy
Grace Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to GCA students. We do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions procedures, tuition assistance awards, athletic and other school administered programs. We do, however, reserve the right to deny admission to any individual who cannot benefit from enrollment based on past academic achievement, disqualifying disability, or whose personal life-style is not in harmony with the stated philosophy and purpose of Grace Christian Academy.
Employment Non-Discrimination Policy
Grace Christian Academy (GCA) is dedicated to maintaining an environment that enriches our academic community and fosters respect and dignity for all staff, students, and members of our school community. Consistent with this commitment, it is the policy of GCA to provide equal employment opportunities for all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, ethnic background, or sex.
As a Christian educational institution, we seek faculty who support our religious mission and values. All GCA teachers are considered ministers in their roles and are expected to contribute to our spiritual and moral ethos. Therefore, while we hire without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, or ethnic background, our hiring decisions are based on both professional qualifications and a candidate’s alignment with our religious values, lifestyle agreement, and statement of faith. This approach is in accordance with our role as a private Christian school and our need to ensure that our faculty can effectively advance our religious mission.
In the administration of our employment policies and practices - including, but not limited to, hiring, promotion, compensation, benefits, training, leave, and termination - GCA does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national or ethnic origin. However, GCA reserves the right to employ personnel who are Christians of good character and who are supportive of the school’s mission, philosophy, and values.
GCA is committed to creating an educational environment that fosters excellence in instruction, spiritual development, and service, in line with our mission to develop wise students. Our employment practices are conducted in a manner that upholds these objectives, while respecting the diversity of the broader community and adhering to our foundational Christian beliefs.
