Do you have to be a certain religion to attend?
No. Our curriculum is taught from a Biblical standpoint and is integrated in every class.
Do you have to live in Kankakee to attend?
No. We have students from all over Kankakee, Iroquois, and Will counties who come to GCA.
Do the students wear uniforms?
Does Grace Christian Academy offer bus service?
Not at this time.
Is there at hot lunch program at GCA?
Not daily. There is opportunity to order pizza on Fridays from Domino’s. Student Council sells ala carte items in the cafeteria and chocolate milk is available for purchase every day.
Is GCA accredited?

Does GCA offer AP courses?
Grace currently offers AP U.S. History and AP Calculus. Grace also has a variety of honors courses that challenge students at the next level.
Are any security measures taken at the school?
Grace takes the security of our students very seriously. Our building is secured throughout the day and is monitored with security cameras. Grace has implemented several security policies that help protect our students on a daily basis. A retired member of the Bradley Police Force is regularly in the building making sure that the premises are secure.
Are the pre-school and elementary students with the secondary students?
No. The pre-school and elementary students have their classes on the first floor. The secondary have most of their classes on the second floor.
Is Before School Care and After School Care available? If so, for what ages? What is the cost?
Yes. Before School Care opens at 6:30 a.m. After School Care closes at 5:30 p.m. This is available to all students through 8th grade. The cost is $3 per hour per student.
